Outings
Instructor: Dave Schmid
At Foothills Academy our wide variety of outings provide an excellent opportunity for students to connect their classroom experiences to the outside world and to bring these experiences back to campus. Outings are closely connected to the curriculum, allowing students to expand physical, social and leadership skills, offer service to outside communities, and experience unique, real world educational opportunities in non-conventional settings. Our program is designed with intentionallity to maximize cross-curricular integration opportunities, outdoor skill development, global awareness, and citizenship.
